In order to improve the group's staff's oral English communication ability, strengthen the pertinence and practicability of English teaching, provide high-quality teaching services for students, and truly embody the group's core values of "taking students as the center and striving people as the center", the administrative affairs department held an English corner activity with the theme of "the night of cross-cultural oral English communication" at 20:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 More than 50 teachers and workers from all departments, subsidiaries and affiliated schools of the Group actively applied for participation.

Haiyuan English corner is mainly taught by Andre Jacques Du plesis (Chinese Name: Du Anrui), a South African foreign teacher with rich teaching experience.

At the beginning of the activity, Mr. Du Anrui took the lead in introducing himself, sharing the living environment of his hometown and the cultural differences between the two countries, interesting stories in his study and life experience in China, as well as his love for Chinese traditional culture such as Hanfu, guqin, diet, tea art and incense.

At the same time, the paper discusses the training of students' oral English ability, the improvement and optimization of English teaching, the measures to improve students' enthusiasm for learning English, bilingual teaching, the organization of English "seed class" and "elite class".

Through this English corner activity, the group's teaching staff's interest in learning English has been improved, their oral expression ability has been trained, and an active, relaxed and lively English learning environment has been created.
