There are 16,599 Lisu People in Luquan Yi and Miao Autonomous County (statistics at the end of 2018). In the cultural activities of Lisu People, musical instruments are very important parts, such as little gourd Sheng, Xiangmi, flute, suona, wooden leaf, etc. Among them, xiaohulusheng is one of the most popular musical instruments of Lisu People. It is a Wuguan Sheng, which is used for urination. The tunes of xiaohulusheng are mainly used as dance accompaniment music. The splendid and rich traditional culture of Lisu nationality has been handed down from mouth to heart through the hard work of generations of Lisu artists. However, due to the changes of production and living conditions, ways and customs, and the limitations of inheritance ways, ways and conditions, many traditional cultures are on the verge of being lost.


"The emergence and development of intangible cultural heritage is a long process, once it dies, it is difficult to reproduce."
